Reason Why Clerics Don't Like You - Guide to Play as a Group [Cleric Point of View]
Have you ever wanted a Cleric around? Hard time finding Cleric that wants to play with you? (Either PvP/PvE)
There are certain reasons why Clerics don't like you & never wishes to play with you EVER AGAIN!
There're players on our List(As a Cleric) "Players to Avoid" (If you are full time Cleric you know what I'm talking about)
I have some tips for those who searching for Clerics - so called "Pocket Cleric"
- Stay as a Group / Move as a Group / Work as a Group / Stay with Cleric
If you're in a group with a Cleric make sure Cleric is near you all times. You should be checking constantly healer is around you.
Don't expect to get healed when you're far away, separating from the group is the worst thing you can do (Don't be a Hero work as a group).
Try to avoid running out of range when Cleric is casting a Healing Spells, this happens all the time! (Remember, Clerics are always and required to stay with a group)
- Protect Cleric / Healer in your group
If you're in a group everyone is responsible to protect their healer. Most of the players who plays DPS don't even think about protecting their healers. Some will say "Well I'm NOT a Templar!" No matter what class you are you should know and have some skills to help out support classes.
Kill the mobs after you! Cleric gets aggro when we heal you. Don't just run off thinking that mobs aren't after you anymore.
Clerics gets blamed and pointed all the time when Cleric gets focused, do you really think it's only the Cleric's fault? (If you're the one that blames Clerics, No wonder No-One Likes you!)
- Play Smart / Don't Get Killed
When you're in a group with a Cleric, you should never rely your life on a Cleric. Don't expect to be 'God Mode' because you have a Healer, do whatever it takes to survive!
Use a Heal/Mana Potions, Scrolls, Foods, ETC. If you're thinking pots are waste of Kinah you're the first thing on Cleric's Avoid List!
Don't just jump in when out numbered because you have a Cleric on a side. Don't let ego get your group killed. 'Clerics don't want to get killed' (It's our duty to survive) - Play Smart! It's about teamwork!!!
- Have Plan for Everything / Communicate
Communication is most important when you're leading the group. Some players are 'New' or they're just waiting for commands. Don't expect others to know what you're thinking!
When it comes to Siege/PvP - Let your Group / Cleric know what You're going to do. Communication is key to not getting killed!
- What you should Avoid Saying (To a Cleric)
'Heal Please' - Like we don't know what we're doing, it's same thing as saying 'DPS Please' (Instant Blocker)
DPS / Heal Spec? - Doesn't matter what Spec Cleric they are! Cleric is Cleric doesn't make them less or more! (Those who knows nothing about Clerics)
Be nice to Clerics even they make some mistakes! Support them with kind words don't be a jerk because you're having a bad day! Make Clerics want to play with you not the other way around!
